The MakerBot Method is the latest generation from MakerBot, building on Stratasys technologies, to produce a performance 3D printer ideal for prototyping applications, printing in Precision Tough (similar to ABS), PLA and water-soluble PVA support material.
The Method has a number of great features including
Circulating Heated Chamber - heat controlled to improve layer adhesion and better dimensional accuracy
Dual Performance Extruders - extruders for build and soluble support that have lengthened thermal cores, optimised sensors and torque for consistent and reliable extrusion
Dissolving Supports - the Method enables support structures to be printed in PVA
Dry-Sealed Material Bays - optimal storage environment for materials with sensors built-in to the bays to form a protective seal from damaging humidity
Smart Sensors & Connectivity - a network of 21 intelligent sensors embedded throughout the printer gives full control, whilst making material and print management as seamless as possible. MakerBot materials for the Method come fitted with RFID tags
MakerBot Method comes with MakerBot Print software, that supports over 25 native CAD file types.
