The Engineering Design Show 2016 runs from 10.00 to 17.00 on Wednesday 19th October and 10.00 to 16.00 on Thursday 20th October 2016 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

Key highlights?

Among the range of 3D printers on display at the CREAT3D stand, will be:

Form 2 SLA

The Formlabs Form 2 is an SLA desktop 3D printer, producing excellent quality parts in a variety of materials, including clear and flexible. It is ideal for small parts requiring a high quality surface finish, or that have small details.

MakerBot Replicator+

MakerBot have just announced the release of their next generation desktop 3D printer, the Replicator+ which has a larger build volume, a flexi build plate with grip surface and advancements to the print software, including the ability to import complete CAD models. The MakerBot Replicator+ can also now print with both PLA and Tough PLA (with properties more akin to ABS).

New UP range

The UP range of 3D printers are ABS specialists, producing good quality prints in this tricky to manage material. The new UP Box Plus and UP Mini 2 are ideal for producing casings, couplings and components, and can be operated via Wi-Fi.

Markforged range of composite 3D printers

Markforged produce a specialist composite 3D printer range, to create high strength parts in Nylon or Onyx, with the option to add reinforcing fibres in Carbon Fibre, Kevlar or Fibreglass. On display will be the Mark Two Enterprise and the CREAT3D Team will also be on hand to discuss the very latest addition to the range, the Mark X (large scale reinforced fibre 3D printer).

Free consultations

With such a wide range of 3D printing technologies to choose from, the CREAT3D team will be able to provide clarity on the selection of hand-picked products offering different tools to suit different applications, from manufacturing and production aids, to electronic and engineering applications, and product design and innovation.

We invite visitors to bring examples of parts they may wish to 3D print and will be offering free consultations to discuss the feasibility of incorporating desktop 3D printing into your business.
