CREAT3D adds Robox to desktop 3D printer range.
The new British designed, dual-head Robox desktop 3D printer will be part of CREAT3D’s product line-up.
CREAT3D Ltd (www.desktop3dprinter.com), the independent specialist retailer of desktop 3D printers and 3D scanners is pleased to announce they will be adding the Robox 3D printer to their extensive product range of 3D printers.
Robox is a British designed 3D printer from CEL, the product development company run by Chris Elseworthy and Kenneth Tam. The printer has been in development since 2012, with a strong KickStarter campaign in the following year, raising over £280,000. The finished printer is now starting its release to early Backers.
The Robox is a very competitively priced dual head desktop 3D printer, capable of printing in a variety of materials using differently sized nozzles of 0.3mm and 0.8mm, providing enhanced print options to the user. The Robox is both a stylish and functional printer, with an enclosed build chamber and heated PEI (Polyetherimide) build platform providing a more stable print environment for increased consistency in print quality.
“CREAT3D are keen to work with innovative and exciting British designers and manufacturers and so we are thrilled to be able to offer our customers the Robox 3D printer from CEL” Simon Chandler, Managing Director of CREAT3D highlights. “The Robox has many unique features and offers many of our customers an accessible way into 3D printing with a highly capable product at a very competitive price.”
The Robox’s flexibility and ease of use makes it especially ideal for Primary and Secondary Schools looking for an accessible 3D printer, as well as Hobbyists, Inventors and those working in Prototyping and Design.
CREAT3D will be showcasing the Robox at the 3D Printshow on their stand P15, from 4th to 6th September at Old Billingsgate. Alternatively, following the show, you will be able to see the printer up close and personal in the CREAT3D Showroom in Reading, Berkshire.
The Robox 3D printer costs £990.90 inclusive of VAT and delivery, with the optional dual-head upgrade which allows for dual-material or dual-colour printing, priced at £249.00 incl. VAT. For full details and to pre-order, visit www.desktop3dprinter.com
