CEL Robox PLA PolyWood SmartReel (half reel) is a high quality 3D printing material for use with the Robox 3D printer. PolyWood is manufactured by PolyMaker and produces parts that are lightweight, with the appearance of wood.

 

PolyWood is a PLA filament that contains a foamed structure which when activated during the printing process, mimics wood aesthetics and produces printed parts with a textured finish. Whilst Woody does not contain wood particles, it imitates natural wood in colour and texture. It is lightweight, with a density of 0.8 g/cm³, making the material 35-40% lighter than ordinary PLA. 

 

Each reel is sealed in a reusable zip lock bag with a sachet of silica gel to control moisture. Included on the reel is an EEprom which can be read by a Robox device. The EEprom stores data on the material and statistics of use.


Polywood comes in a half reel, containing approx. 350g material.
