Formlabs Form Cure provides a reliable, professional post-curing solution, precisely controlling temperature and light to cure 3D printed parts to their optimal performance properties. Choose from default time & temperature settings for standard resins, or select specific settings via the on-board controls.

 

Features of Form Cure

  • ADVANCED HEATING:  Precise temperature control provides successful post-curing. The Form Cure chamber heats up to 80 °C

  • BALANCED LIGHT13 LEDs emit 405nm light to trigger the post-curing reaction, working with the heater to post-cure parts

  • UNIFORM EXPOSURE: A rotating turntable, forced-air heating, and multi-directional LEDs uniformly post-cure parts

Why post-curing is required.

Post curing by exposing the Form 2 printed part to 405nm light, triggers the formation of additional chemical bonds, increasing material performance. The heat accelerates this curing process and enables a more complete bond formation, resulting in optimal material properties, increasing strength, peak performance, and cleaner burn-outs for castable resins.
