The DAVID SLS-3 Structured Light 3D scanner is a mobile 3D scanner, using Structured Light technology to capture high detailed 3D scans, , best suited in aiding design and engineering projects.

Based on its predecessor, the advanced SLS-3 comes with enhanced features in the form of higher data capture and faster scanning speeds, as well as improvements to hardware and software for increased user experience.

The SLS-3 has a full HD camera, the DAVID-CAM-4-M which has a fast high-resolution chip and a USB 3 interface, allowing for scanning with 54 FPS at maximum resolution, at faster scanning speeds.

The DAVID SLS-3 scanner comes with a tripod and sliding rail, to provide versatility in capturing 3D scans from objects in a range of sizes, from 60mm to 500mm.

The SLS-3 3D scanner comes with DAVID Pro Software for capturing and processing the scan and can output scans into STL, OBJ and PLY file format. The DAVID Pro Software can be used to create both water-tight models for 3D printing, as well as combining scans to create a 360° image.

Compatible with Windows operating system.

24 month manufacturer warranty included.

What is the difference between the DAVID SLS-2 and DAVID SLS-3?

In short, the DAVID SLS-3 is built upon the foundations and profile of the DAVID SLS-2 but has improved scan resolution and faster scanning speeds. The SLS-3 has a new full HD camera, the DAVID-CAM-4-M which has a fast high-resolution chip and a USB 3 interface, allowing for scanning with 54 FPS at maximum resolution, at faster scanning speeds. See Tech Specs for further details.

What operating systems work with the DAVID SLS-3 Scanner?

The DAVID SLS-3 Structured Light 3D Scanner is compatible with Windows operating systems

Does the DAVID SLS-3 Structured Light 3D Scanner have a tripod?

Yes, the DAVID SLS-3 3D Scanner comes with a tripod stand.

What software does the DAVID SLS-3 Scanner come with?

The DAVID SLS-3 Structured Light Scanner comes with DAVID Pro Edition Software which is used to capture and process the 3D scan. The latter stages in the DAVID software, Fusion, allow you to create water-tight models, ideal for 3D printing. The DAVID Pro Software also allows for fusion of multiple scans to create a 360° scan.
