The Ultimaker 3 Extended is a tall build, dual nozzle 3D printer, designed to provide either dual material, soluble support material or dual colour 3D printing. The Ultimaker 3 Extended comes with two types of swappable print cores, for build (AA) and support (BB) materials.

The Ultimaker 3 Extended has a tall build volume of up to 300mm in height and a maximum of 215mm in XY dimensions.

The print head assemblies are swappable for using different materials, designed for easier maintenance. With this 3D printer, Ultimaker have released material spools with embedded NFC technology to detect the type of material. This works with the Ultimaker 3 Extended's built-in material recognition system to detect and identify the material on the reel holder, to verify the filament and print core being used. There is also an EEPROM chip within the print core that registers the size and type of nozzle, designed to streamline the print process.

The Ultimaker 3 Extended also comes with a heated glass bed with active bed levelling, an on-board camera and connectivity via Wi-Fi, LAN or USB.

Compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.

12 month manufacturer warranty included on all parts except the print cores.

DUAL EXTRUSION & SWAPPABLE PRINT CORES

Ultimaker 3 has a dual nozzle system allowing you to combine two different print materials, or print support structures in a soluble material. The Ultimaker 3 comes wtih swappable print cores for build (AA) and for support (BB) materials.

ENHANCED CONNECTIVITY

The Ultimaker 3 has Wi-Fi / LAN and a live camera for enhanced connectivity and monitoring. Ultimaker materials also now come with an EEPROM print core chip and material recognition with NFC scanner for a more streamlined process.

MULTIPLE MATERIALS

The Ultimaker 3 can print in a number of different materials including PLA, nGen, PVA, XT and other exotics.

EXTENDED BUILD VOLUME

The Ultimaker 3 Extended has an extended build volume of up to 300cm in height, providing extra capacity for models.
