CONTROLLED PRINT ENVIRONMENT

The CubePro Trio has an enclosed heated print chamber, a controlled process environment, which is designed to reduce warping in large and ABS prints, delivering improved accuracy and reliability.

LARGE BUILD SIZE CAPABILITIES

The CubePro Trio professional desktop 3D printer has a large build size of 200mm (w) x 270mm (d) x 230mm (h), ideal for large prototypes and models.

VARIETY OF MATERIALS

The CubePro Trio can use a range of materials and colours in PLA, ABS and Nylon. The material is in a cartridge form, which is easy to load and have a microchip to tell the printer if sufficient material is available before starting a print.  The cartridge casing also provides protection for the filament to reduce the risk of crossing and jamming.

Nylon is exceptionally durable for high heat resistance, high strength to weight ratio, or parts requiring secondary operations like painting, machining or adhesive bonding.

TRIPLE EXTRUDER

The CubePro Trio has three nozzles allowing for multiple colour or multiple material prints.

Where can I download the CubePro Trio desktop 3D printer user guide?

What operating systems do you need to run the CubePro Trio desktop 3D printer?

The CubePro Trio is compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems.

Is the CubePro single or multiple extruder?

The CubePro Trio is a triple extruder desktop 3D printer and can print in multiple colours or materials.

What colours/filament can I use?

The CubePro desktop 3D printer uses PLA, ABS, Dissolvable (Infinity Rinse-Away Soluble Support Material) and Nylon filament in CubePro cartridges. There is a range of over 20 colours and different finishes including glow-in-the-dark in the PLA and ABS ranges. You can view the full range of CubePro cartridges from our filament store.

Nylon can be used to make strong, durable and functional parts. It is compatible with autoclave sterilisation and is resistant to gasoline. It is also biocompatible and hence can be used in medical applications requiring USP class VI compliance.

Why a cartridge?

The CubePro cartridges are easy to load and have a microchip to tell the printer if sufficient material is available before starting a print.  The cartridge casing also provides protection for the filament to reduce the risk of crossing and jamming.

Can you refill the cartridges?

No, the cartridges cannot be refilled as they have a microchip within them that communicates with the printer to ensure sufficient material is available before a print starts.

Which files can the CubePro professional desktop 3D printer print?

The CubePro accepts STL file formats, as well as .cubepro and .creation file extensions.

Can I print support material?

Yes, the CubePro software will add the needed supports for you when you build the file and will add supports in a way that will both minimise material and be easily removable after printing. With the CubePro Duo and Trio models you can print the model in one type of plastic and support material in the alternative plastic, or alternative colours. Supports can be removed easily using needle nose pliers or your fingers.

How do I get a file to my CubePro for printing?

You transfer your print ready file to your CubePro desktop 3D Printer via USB stick or Wi-Fi.

What software is required for the CubePro?

The CubePro desktop 3D printer uses CubePro software where you can set your 3D design file ready for printing. This advanced software has a number of features including a built-in STL file verification, combined part and tool path viewer and profiles for multiple material/support materials.

What layer resolution can the CubePro operate at?

The CubePro professional desktop 3D printer can print at 70 microns.

What are the different Print Modes?

The CubePro can print in three different print modes: Lines, Diamonds and Honeycomb. Use Lines mode for building parts that do not require internal structural strength. Use Diamonds mode for self-supporting parts that require minimal internal structural strength and a lower requirement for flat top surfaces. Use Honeycomb mode for both great internal structural strength and optimum flat top surfaces.
